Materials and equipment I am using:
- Black Fabric
- Grey Fabric
- Chalk
- Pins
- Vlisoflex

- Scissors
- Beads and beading needle
- Black thread
- Fabric Crayons
- Ruler
- Iron




- Sewing machine and all added equipment

Beading
Step 1 – Choose the colour and type of beads for your design
Step 2 – Use a beading needle, put through a thread about 60cm long and tie a knot.
Step 3 – Secure your thread on the back of the fabric and come through to the front.
Step 4 – Add the bead then bring your thread back through to the back securing your bead in place.
Step 5 – Bring the thread back up closely on the other side of the bead, put the needle through the bead again and back through to the back.
Step 6 – Repeat from Step 2




Appliqué
Sep 1 – Draw your design on the Vliesoflex
Step 2 – Iron the Vlisoflex on the wrong side of the fabric
Step 3 – Cut out your design
Step 4 – Peel of the Vlisoflex from your fabric
Step 5 – Iron on your design (Note: put baking paper on top of design before ironing)


seam
Step 1 – Pin fabric 1.5cm from raw edge
Step 2 – Set machine stitch length 2.5cm
Step 3 – Sew reversing 3 stitches at the beginning and end, removing pins as you go
Step 4 – Press
Step – Remove loose threads

Corner Seam
Step 1 – Pin fabric 1.5cm from raw edge
Step 2 – Set machine stitch length 2.5cm
Step 3 – Sew reversing 3 stitches at the beginning and end
Step 4 – Press and stop when 1cm from the edge
Step 5 – Take up the lever and turn your fabric diagonally, just slightly then turn your stitch width control knob.
Step 6 – Repeat until your fabric is back where it started but now with a corner seam
Step 7 – Continue sewing
